- The Leadership Development Program is an opportunity like no other. This presentation will inform on the issue of educational disadvantage in Australia; who Teach For Australia are and what we're doing about it; and how you can join us. This presentation will take you through facts and statistics; a story of self about the organisation and alum of the program, now Recruitment Manager for Queensland; and a comprehensive overview of the journey.
Teach For Australia is an innovative non-profit organisation and part of a global movement dedicated to improving equity in education. Our vision to achieve educational equity begins inside the classroom, but Associates don’t start out as teachers – they come from all academic disciplines and a variety of backgrounds. We look for well-rounded and passionate individuals, who have the qualities to create change.
This information and networking session will provide a platform to discuss the what the issue of educational disadvantage looks like in Australia; how the program we offer makes an impact and how you could be a part of Cohort 2019.
