Event Description

Full Description:
The UQ Genomics Initiative invites you to attend a morning tea and seminar session to mark the arrival of the PacBio Sequel.

The University of Queensland has acquired a PacBio Sequel long read sequencer to enable discoveries across a variety of genomic research applications from de novo assembly of reference genomes to characterisation of complex genomic populations.
Come along to learn how the PacBio long read technology can be applied to expand your genomic research potential.

The event will include an introduction to SMRT long read technology, highlights on key research applications and information about how UQ researchers can access the available resources.
