Event Description

Full Description:
The Nuclear factor one (Nfi) family of transcription factors play essential roles in the development of multiple organs systems in body. A major function of the Nfi genes is to regulate the transition of cells from proliferating progenitors to differentiated mature cell types. This presentation will detail our latest work on the functional overlap of Nfi genes as master regulators of cellular differentiation in brain development and how loss of function may lead to both childhood and adult brain cancers.
