Title: Optogenetic mapping of novel cerebellar circuits
Abstract: Optogenetic technologies are revolutionizing our understanding of brain function. Here I will describe an optogenetic method for mapping the function and spatial organization of local circuits. This method has allowed us to identify a novel type of cerebellar interneuron and map its circuits. This cell may play a unique role in neuronal synchronization and motor learning.
