- Three Minute Thesis (3MTŪ) celebrates the exciting research conducted by PhD students. Developed by The University of Queensland, the exercise cultivates students' academic, presentation, and research communication skills. The competition supports their capacity to effectively explain their research in three minutes, in a language appropriate to a non-specialist audience.
The Asia-Pacific 3MT invites university winners from 50 institutions across Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia to compete in a series of heats and finals over one thrilling and thoroughly entertaining day! Held in the breathtaking GHD Auditorium of the Advanced Engineering Building, we will watch this region's best of best battle it out until one is crowned the Asia-Pacific 3MT champion for 2016!
