- Celebrate International Women’s Day at a lunchtime forum – and make a pledge for parity! A recent report from the World Economic Forum has predicted that if things progress as they are now, the gender pay gap won’t close entirely until 2133. The forum will try and unpack the issue of the gender pay gap by having a conversation about what the problems are and what are some of the potential solutions – in 2 hours over lunch! Two UQ leading academics will provide some context to the issue before they are joined by a panel of UQ staff who will lead a Q&A forum to try and address the gender pay gap and other gender inequalities present in society. People of all genders are welcome.
