'Are your genes to blame when your jeans don't fit?'
Dr Yeo’s research work centres on the molecular mechanisms underlying the central control of food intake and body-weight. He was the first to identify that mutations in the brain genes MC4R and TRKB cause severe human obesity and is one of the experts featured in the BBC Horizon documentary series, What is the Right Diet For You? (also screened on SBS in Australia). This public lecture is part of the 2015 International Postgraduate Symposium in Biomedical Sciences.
