Full Description:: Open Day at The University of Queensland’s Moreton Bay Research Station is a perfect opportunity to get behind the scenes of one of Australia’s largest marine research stations. The goal of MBRS’s Open Day is to engage with the broader community to inform them about the research and natural environments found on their front doorstep. This free event includes hands-on workshops, a comprehensive public lecture series, cultural presentations, wildlife displays and science demonstrations. It is a great day to meet the scientists, traditional owners and the amazing creatures of Quandamooka (Moreton Bay).
