Full Description:: Our UQ Summer Day Tea Ceremony will take place on 15th October 2015 at The University of Queensland, St Lucia campus. The mission of this event is separated in two aspects, charity fundraising and cultural communication. To be specific, firstly this event aims to introduce an Australian aeromedical charity organization named CareFlight and raising funds for it in order to rescue people who need medical help. On the other hand, it is an opportunity for all the participants to experience and learn the unique Chinese tea culture. The objectives of our event is to firstly, raise $400 for CareFlight and secondly, provide fun and enjoyment for all participants through various creative Chinese traditional activities including watching the Kong Fu tea show, dressing in Chinese traditional Han clothes and taking photos.
