Full Description:: The Global Change Institute seeks images that address the sustainable and unsustainable ways we produce, use and consume the planet’s resources.

Whether you’re a student who takes photographs as a hobby, a serious photographer or simply looking for photographic inspiration – we encourage you to enter.

This year's theme is Food for Life: Consumption & Production

Who can enter? *
This is an amateur competition open to all photographers. Please note, no print or video submissions will be accepted.

To be an eligible applicants MUST:
• Be 18 years old or older on the competition opening day, 27 July 2015.
• Submit a photo in digital format which meets the criteria set out in the Guidelines/How to enter section below.
• Agree to the Terms & Conditions

* Global Change Institute employees are ineligible

Winner's prize
First prize is a Canon EOS 700D + 18-55mm STM camera plus EF 200mm f2.8L II USM lens (valued at $2000)

• Entries close Monday, 24 Aug 2015 at 5.00 pm (UTC+10:00 Brisbane).
• Winners announced Monday, 7 Sep 2015.

How to enter
Submit as many as three images taken during the past two years (JPEG format, no larger than 10MB with a minimum pixel size of 2500 high x 3750 wide) with the entry form on the GCI website.
