- Full Description:
- YOUR HEALTH FUTURE: UQ Diamantina Institute Free Public Forum
Blood cancers like leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma kill more Australians than breast cancer or skin cancer.
In what may come as a surprise to many, blood cancers are the third biggest cause of cancer death in Australia, behind only lung and bowel cancer.
Each day thirty-one Australians are diagnosed with a blood cancer.
World-class researchers at UQ Diamantina Institute are working hard to find innovative treatment options for those who need it the most, thanks to the support of the Leukaemia Foundation.
Join leading experts in a forum discussing the advances this research is making to help those impacted by blood cancers.
