RHD Student Presentations with Special Guest Presenter Professor Graham Welch, UCL Institute of Education, London

Presentations:
Samuel Andrews, 'Mozart's Violin Concerto No. 5 in A major: changing performance practices”
Cathy Likhuta and Nicole Murphy report on current work in progress on their folios of creative work
Jason Goopy, 'Music education beliefs, values and practices that support the development of multiple musical identities in boy's education”

Special Guest Speaker:
Professor Graham Welch
UCL Institute of Education, London

The presentation will review a series of research studies into aspects of instrumental learning and teaching in adults and children. These will include extensive research into advanced musical performance at undergraduate and postgraduate levels that has been rehearsed in a new Ashgate book, as well as three recent and ongoing studies into children's instrumental learning.
