- UQ invites you to the first in a series of networking forums for Queensland's life sciences sector. The forum will hear from The Hon. Ian Walker MP (Minister for Science, Information Technology, Innovation and the Arts), Professor Max Lu, Mr Mario Pennisi (CEO, Life Sciences Queensland) and Dr Geoff Garrett (Queensland Chief Scientist).
Our aim is to demonstrate to Minister Walker and others, that Queensland has a viable and sustainable life sciences sector, from research to industry, and that it has the capacity for further development and contribution to the state’s economy and community wellbeing.
Having a good section of university and research sector, industry and government in attendance will be important, so please forward to colleagues whom you think may be interested, and please note attendance is by RSVP.
