The Marine and Shipping Law Unit (MASLU) at the TC Beirne School of Law is delighted to invite you to join us for a presentation and roundtable discussion on the international maritime legal context and consequences of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) Whaling Case judgment.

The event will be presented by Anne Sheehan from the International Law, Trade and Security Branch, Office of International Law, Attorney-General's Department. Anne is a UQ Law graduate with experience working with ITLOS in Hamburg some years ago, prior to her involvement with the ICJ Whaling Case. Ms Sheehan will provide a legal and factual background to the topic, which will be followed by a roundtable discusson in which all attendees are encouraged to participate.
