Program rules and requirements
All University of Queensland programs are governed by program rules. These rules detail the specific requirments needed to complete your degree. To see the rules for your program go to the Program and Courses website www.uq.edu.au/study choose your program and then go to the program list and rules located near the bottom of the page.
The Timetable
Most courses are a combination of lectures, tutorials and/or practicals. Some courses may have multiple offerings of classes for which you might have to sign on, others may be taught only in certain weeks. The timetable for a course will show all this information. For more information, see myAdvisor www.uq.edu.au/myadvisor/timetables-course-selection-55405
You can view the timetable for a course either from the Course & Timetable Info link on the mySI-net log in page www.sinet.uq.edu.au or from the Timetable tab on your mySI-net Student Home page. Two views are available: a List View which lists all classes in chronological order and a Weekly View which presents them as a Monday to Sunday timetable.
The timetable may contain a number of terms, abbreviations and codes with which you are unfamiliar. When you are reading the timetable in mySI-net, you will find a Help button at the top of each personal timetable page. The Help Page provides a link to myAdvisor which explains the meaning of the timetable abbreviations or codes, as well as providing information on electronic sign on. For more information, see myAdvisor www.uq.edu.au/myadvisor/about-class-timetables
