 Whiplash Symposium 2011 International & Interstate Guests

AIRPORT: Brisbane International and Domestic Airport (BNE) is located only 20 minutes from the Brisbane City Centre. Taxi's are available upon arrival at both terminals or you can hop on the "Airtrain" to Central Station. Tickets are $15 each way www.airtrain.com.au
 
ACCOMMODATION:

For those travelling to Brisbane and requiring accommodation, there is a large selection of options from hostels to 5 Star to Self Contained Apartments within Brisbane. The easiest in terms of accessibility to the University is in the Brisbane CBD and "Southbank/South Brisbane" areas. From here you can enjoy a leisurely City Cat ride to and from the University each day (approximately 30minutes) ** See below for updated information follwoing the floods** Please visit www.wotif.com and enter "CBD" or "South Brisbane" into the advanced search options.

IMPORTANT: Due to the recent flooding in Brisbane, the City Cat Service is currently not operating and may not be at the time of the symposium. The University is easily accessible via the Brisbane Bus system and it recommended that you visit the www.translink.com.au website for the most up-to-date information regarding transfers.
